What type of cars do you use for lessons?
We use modern, easy-to-drive vehicles with dual controls for safety. All training vehicles are safety inspected and insured.
Are your driving instructors certified?
Yes! All our instructors are fully qualified and licensed, with experience teaching learners of all levels.
Do you have multilingual instructors?
Yes! We aim to have instructors who speak multiple languages to make lessons more comfortable for learners. Currently our instructors are speaking English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
Can I bring a friend or family member to sit in on my lesson?
Yes, we are allow one passenger to sit at the back during lesson.
Can I take driving lessons in my own car?
Yes! You can use your own vehicle as long as it meets the following requirements:
•Assessment in our training vehicle.
•It is fully insured for driving lessons (check with your insurance provider if your policy covers learner drivers).
• It has L plates displayed if you are a learner, N plates if you are novice.
• It has working seatbelts, mirrors, and all controls functioning properly.

What is your cancellation policy?
We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
How can I reschedule or cancel a lesson?
You can reschedule or cancel by our email link to our custom panel.
What happens if my instructor cancels a lesson?
If an instructor cancels, we will reschedule at your convenience at no extra charge.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule due to a medical issue?
We understand that emergencies happen. If you are unable to attend your lesson due to illness or a medical emergency, please notify your instructor as soon as possible to reschedule.
What should I bring to my first lesson?
Please bring your learner’s permit (or driver’s license if applicable) and wear comfortable shoes for driving.
Can I take lessons on weekends or in the evening?
Yes! We offer weekend and evening lessons to accommodate your schedule. Availability may vary, so book in advance.
Do you offer discounts for multiple lessons?

Road Test related
Do you provide a car for the road test?
Yes! If you need a test-ready vehicle, we offer car rental services for the exam.
How do you help learners prepare for the driving test?

• Guidance on what examiners look for, including safe driving habits.
• Tips on handling nerves and staying calm during the test.
How many lessons do I need before taking the road test?
This varies based on experience and confidence, but most learners need 10 hours of lessons before feeling test-ready.
What happens if I don’t pass my first road test?
If you don’t pass, we’ll work with you to identify areas for improvement and create a plan for success on your next attempt.
Payment & Refund
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept the following payment methods:

Do I need to pay in advance?
Yes, we require payment before your lesson to secure your booking. You can pay online or in person before the lesson begins.
Can I pay on-site instead of paying in advance?
Yes! We offer pay-on-site options for individual lessons. However, all payments must be completed before the lesson begins.
Do you offer a discount for cash payments? Why offer cash discount?
Yes! We offer a 5% discount when you pay in cash or etransfer for single lessons or lesson packages.
Cash payments help us avoid processing fees from card payments, so we pass the savings on to you!
Do I get a receipt for payment?
Yes, we provide receipts for all payments.
Can I get a refund if I cancel my lesson?
Yes, but the refund amount depends on when you cancel:
• More than 24 hours before the lesson: Full refund or free rescheduling.
• No-shows (without notice): No refund.
Can I get a refund for a lesson package?
• Unused Packages: Full refunds are available for packages that have not been started, if requested within 30 days of purchase.
• Partially Used Packages: Refunds are available, but completed lessons will be charged at the full single-lesson rate before calculating the refund.
• Expired Packages: If a package has an expiration date (e.g., 6 months), refunds are not available after expiration.
What if Momentum Driving Academy cancels my lesson?
If we need to cancel a lesson due to instructor availability, weather, or other reasons, you will have the option to reschedule at no extra cost or receive a full refund.
What if I am unhappy with my lesson?
If you are dissatisfied with a lesson, please contact us within 24 hours. Refunds or additional lessons may be provided on a case-by-case basis.
How long does it take to process a refund?
Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days and will be credited back to the original payment method.
